The why.
Some ideas are better drawn than filmed. A process nobody can point a camera at, a feeling that live action can’t communicate, a world that doesn’t exist yet, or simply a style choice that makes an impact. We know when animation is the right choice and have the expertise to make it work for your brand.
Our Brighton studio makes branded animation, motion graphics and animated explainers using 2D, 3D, stop motion and hand-drawn techniques. From a Samaritans Shush stop motion film to a Vans hand-drawn animation, if a shoot is not the right answer, animation might be.
The work.
Animation led from our Brighton studio, for charities, universities and brands. It pairs with commercial production and brand film production from the same studio on the sunny south coast, with support from our London animation studio when the project calls for it.

If your campaign, launch or big idea needs moving image that actually moves people, let’s talk.
The how.
Technique is a creative choice, not a house style. We pick the one that fits the idea and the budget, often mixing them. Hand-drawn animation pairs with motion design, and stop-motion juxtaposes with 3D animation to absorb the eye and make the message hit harder.
Our directors and animators work across both studios, so a Brighton project draws on the full team. Meet our directors.
2D and 3D Animation
2D is the workhorse: flexible, fast, and right for everything from branded explainers to character-led campaigns. 3D adds depth, product realism and scale for launches, and worlds that have to feel solid.

Both run from concept and design through to the finished film and social cutdowns, matched to the brand, the message and the audience, rather than a template. Just like the animated explainer video we produced in Brighton for the University of Sussex.

Stop Motion and Hand-Drawn
Stop motion brings a tactile, handmade warmth that suits both playful and difficult or emotive subjects. That’s why it’s a mainstay of charity animation, brand marketing and the space in between.
At the same time, hand-drawn animation carries character and craft that polished vector work simply cannot fake.
Our Brighton studio has real pedigree, creating stop motion films for the Samaritans Shush campaign that carry a hard mental-health subject with warmth, alongside hand-drawn animation for Vans that combines inspirational messaging with signature visuals.

Motion Graphics
Motion graphics bring character and weight to type, graphics and data. It’s the skill that turns something bland into something spicy, making numbers, processes and information mean something and leave their mark.

It powers title sequences, branded transitions, animated infographics and explainers, and slots into live-action work as readily as it stands alone. It is often the quickest route to an animated explainer for information-led projects and educational briefs.
