Nestlé Wunda

Working with agency Brilliant Noise and Nestlé we were tasked to shake up the plant-based milk category and tackle the doubts holding people back - thin texture, odd taste, and overblown health claims.

We needed to show that Wunda could do what others couldn’t: froth in coffee, taste good in tea, and actually be good for you. Built around the  bold question, “Can your plant-based drink say that?“, the campaign had to challenge assumptions and win over curious but unconvinced switchers.

We built the film around a call and response format, using the contrast between huge, epic food “landscapes” and a deadpan Wunda carton on a kitchen counter to land the product claims. Each challenge - froth, protein, low sugar, and taste - was set against hyper-surreal visuals, from frothy cappuccino mountains to crumbling granola canyons, all shot on probe lens using a motion-controlled slider.

Sound design and music played a key role in creating the comedic rift between the two worlds - dramatic orchestral hits and apocalyptic rumbles for the challenges, with Wunda’s replies punctuated by casual flute trills and gentle pings.
