I originally began my career composing music for television and commercials, writing for productions including Peaky Blinders, Inspector George Gently and The Baby. That background gave me a strong understanding of rhythm, pacing and emotion, which continues to shape how I approach directing today.
From there I moved into directing. Working across production and post has given me a broad understanding of the filmmaking process, allowing me to develop ambitious ideas with a clear picture of how they’ll come together. Alongside directing, I continue to edit much of my own work and enjoy building technically ambitious projects through post-production, VFX and animation.
